Frequently asked

Does Formo need an internet connection?

No. Every conversion runs on your device. Formo makes no network requests at all, so it works the same in airplane mode.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-in, no account and no subscription. You buy the app once and every feature is included.

Where are my files stored?

In the app's own folder on your device, which the Files app shows under On My iPhone → Formo. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.

A file failed to convert. Why?

Some conversions have no sensible result — an audio file cannot become a Word document — and Formo says so instead of producing a broken file. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened. If a file you expected to work does not, write to us with the file type and what you tried.
